Pricing
Basic Philosophy:

Every project is distinct, thus the prices listed below are intended as a guide and only when given your special circumstances and varying material costs can an exact quote can be given. These prices are also subject to change so check this page to get the most up-to-date information.
General Proviso:

The rationale for my pricing strategy is that I don’t want you to have to pay for prints or image files you don’t want. I’ve always hated the package concept as there is always some filler thrown in which doesn’t help you, only the photographer in selling more work. So I’ve done away with it. I find this a-la-carte method also motivates me to return with only the best images in hopes that you would want to buy more.

 

The sitting or upfront fee is mostly to defray my initial costs. In fact, more often than not, the upfront money does not even cover the travel, printing and film, let alone equipment. Again, the main objectives are the final delivered images and this is my real product to sell, not my time.
Portraiture (sales tax included):
Initial sitting fee: $90. Price includes digital proofs on CD and/or DVD, plus a full website of images.

Wedding / Special Event (sales tax included):
Initial fee: $1200: This includes a full day of shooting from the arrival at the wedding place through the ceremony, photos of the wedding parties and at least two hours at the reception. After the wedding, the couple will recieve a leather-bound proof book of at least 250 images, four 8x10s, and two 11x14 retouched prints and a web site of proofs.
